Choose your own adventure!
In order to provide our campers with more personal choice, weeklong campers will select several of their adventures/activities within their small cabin group. This encourages camper input and also emphasizes the importance of working together as a group. Some campers in the group may have already participated in an activity like caving while other campers may have never attempted caving. In the end, at that moment of choice a camper always has the opportunity/choice to sit out or not participate if they do not feel comfortable but it is still there responsibility to encourage and support each other within the group. Encouragers within the group are just as important and critical as the group member(s) directly participating in the challenge. Whatever the case may be, adventure time provides campers the opportunity and challenge to grow spiritually, mentally and as a group.
Adventures are progressive with age for safety and all adventures are not necessarily available every day. Factors include the weather, staff supervision, number of campers on site, and space availability at the time of the adventure option.
Help us come up with more adventures! If you have an idea of a cool adventure for a summer camper option please drop us an email with your idea.
