Pictured Rocks uses Camp Courageous (an adjacent Special Needs camp) for use of their indoor swimming facility, train rides, and expanded adventure programming.

Camp Courageous is a year-round respite care and recreational facility for individuals of all ages with disabilities. The camp is a not-for-profit organization.

The mission of Camp Courageous is to provide exceptional year-round recreational and respite care opportunities for individuals with special needs and their families. The camp is run primarily on donations, giving all individuals the opportunity to give through gifts of time, materials, money, and other means that support the camp. Camp Courageous is a strong supporter of Pictured Rocks UM Camp and we are both proud and privileged to help and support them as well.

Pictured Rocks uses McDonough Canoe Outfitter www.mcdonoughcanoerental.com for all our adventure trips down the scenic Maquoketa River in kayak, canoe, or on an inner tube. Owners Mike and Angie are strong supporters of Pictured Rocks Camp.
