It is our goal to partner with each United Methodist church in Eastern Iowa by providing a sacred space where Jesus Christ can transform lives. Our camp mission is to provide a place where children, youth and adults can grow in Christian discipleship and promote the development of leaders to empower their local churches through Christian love.

If your church has a volunteer youth leader who has never led a youth retreat, let us help you. We can plan everything from the programming to the curriculum as well as providing a guest speaker. If you want your youth to open up at Bible Study; spend some quality time with them away from home and play some crazy camp games. You will be amazed at how a youth retreat can break down barriers and energize your Sunday school or Bible Study times.

Pictured Rocks UM Camp is also a proud partner of the Iowa Episcopal Church, www.iowaepiscopal.org Pictured Rocks is excited to host a week-long summer camp for Episcopal youth June 27-July 2, 2010. We also host many of their weekend youth retreats, and this year, the Pastoral Family weekend retreat as well.

Pictured Rocks UM Camp is owned and operated by the Iowa United Methodist Conference www.iaumc.org and is one of three UM camps in Iowa. Wesley Woods Camp and Retreat Center www.welseywoodsiowa.org is located near Des Moines and Lake Okoboji Camp and Retreat Center www.okobojicamp.com is located in the north- east corner of Iowa. We are all working hard together to help secure UM camping ministry in Iowa not only for today, but for the years to come.
